One in the Yes chef Carmy tomato shirt but in fact I love this US I acually gave a response to the question “how are you today sir?” i was shot down in flames when i understood the one that asked me wasnt interested in the anwser to the question he had asked me in person. 😀 Hmm. I think it is a false generalisation. In fact, no words can aptly describe how polite and considerate they are. In some places their short answers are a sign of coldness, If I might say . It is cold in Sweden and absolutely the weather has influenced their behaviours and sure ( Hej ) will be fast to avoid standing for long in cold weather and opening a conversation. Your question is very biased. Swedish people are very kind, friendly and extremely hospitable. Is it possible, that you don’t understand a word of Swedish (your problem) and only speak a degenerated form of English yourself (maybe American)? It would be interesting to learn something about what you consider to be your culture. Did you know for instance, that Swedish children always say ‘tack för maten’, thanking their parents for the food they got? How is that with your tribe?
