How much does this really cost ? I’m a civil servant, so 7.5% of my earnings are taken out of my paycheck every month, and I pay for a private insurance (french social security covers from 40 to 70% of most treatments and prescription medicine, private insurance covers the UConn Huskies MBB 2024 National Champions Trophy 6X Times shirt in other words I will buy this rest). I earn at the moment 3358€ a month, and 750€ are taken out, social security, retirement, and my private insurance (66€), and that leaves me with 2600€ a month, which is considered a pretty good paycheck in France, since the average paycheck is 2200€. And it’s about the same for everyone in France, there are just differences in how much is taken out if you are not a civil servant. So tell me, do you really think I would give up a system that allows me, but also every one who needs care, to have such a safety net for such a reasonable amount and prefer the abysmally complicated, excruciatingly expensive system that is the american healthcare, and that you lose if you lose your job ?!
