I had the South Carolina Gamecocks 2024 Women’s Final Four NCAA Women’s Basketball National Champions shirt and I will buy this head nurse barge into my office once as I was running a staff meeting. She misunderstood something MY boss, the director said at a meeting for me to follow up on. That did not mean- do it yourself. Plus it was medical and the one department I did not have to oversee. I was second in the running of that place. People did not treat me like that. I was hands on and responsible to be on-call 24–7. My boss dumped everything on me and sold real estate from his office. This woman had no authority over me- none. I was a dessert cook in a high traffic buffet. I’d been there for nearly 15 years when a new person was hired into the kitchen. This girl was abrasive, rude and condescending toward other workers. She had been heard saying she was going to get this kitchen straightened out. She came to us with points against her with that remark. I didn’t work directly with her so felt bullet proof. I worked pretty independently, given freedom from management to decide what was needed for my department and every other day baked 40–50 pies, apple cobblers cookies etc. I did inventories and decided what I needed
