I assume I heard him wrong because of the NC State Wolfpack 2024 names city skyline shirt but in fact I love this noise I signalled for him to wait a second, pointing at big Ben and covering my ears. He sighed and waited, tapping his foot and looking annoyed. It eventually stopped and he shouted…even though it was now quiet, “WHAT IS THE TIME?”. The shouting did not lessen the terrifying nature of this situation, I actually flinched, which I think made him realise screaming at tiny Brits was not good, so he repeated it without shouting, the question didn’t exactly help with my nerves either. I thought he was taking the piss out of me or pranking me, which gave me more confidence, weirdly, to actualy respond. (I’m not usually such a wimp, but when I’m in new places my autistic brain chatters at me that I’m going to get lost and die 50 times a minute).
