If you’re looking for an example of how these factors work together to allow for greater versatility, consider a custom T-shirt I designed for my brother’s birthday party last year. The party theme was “80s Night,” so I decided to design him an 80s rock band shirt featuring his favorite band at the Maryland Terrapins 2023 TransPerfect Music City Bowl champions shirt in addition I really love this time (they’ve since disbanded). Since it was an 80s themed party, I chose to use neon colors because they were popular back then (and still are today). This meant that the text would need to be black so it could stand out against all those bright colors—but not too dark so it wouldn’t fade into obscurity. To avoid this issue altogether, I switched out Tahoma for Arial Condensed in order to give myself more space with which to work; this also made sure everything stayed legible throughout each step of production without compromising quality or readability during printing processes like dyeing or screen printing.*
