I recommend going with the “New Standard” as it works most broadly. Kipper only has a place if you REALLY know how to do it and it is NOT professional (in my opinion). If you are a bit more skinny…go with narrow or standard. I think few really need to opt for traditional. Oh, and stay away from bolo. A plain white pocket square made of silk, linen or cotton in a presidential (rectangular) fold is very appropriate for a formal meeting. It is a very simple things that elevates your look, shows that you are a professional, that you care about the way you present yourself. If you don’t want a simple white pocket square, try different colours and patterns, but trick to something subtle as very loud pocket square may not be appropriate for a formal event. If it has a logo of the company you represent or something else associated with the meeting, then it is totally fine. If not, I would suggest you be very careful or even stay clear of it as the wrong lapel pin can make you look eccentric and this is not what you want on a formal meeting.
